Otherwise known as Poppy, the boss.  Has been tested PRA carrier.

Poppy is the oldest and the biggest dog we have.  She is the dominant dog, the boss.  If she thinks one of the dogs is misbehaving, a nip on the back of the neck and the mis-behaviour stops immediately.  If she runs outside barking, all the other dogs will run out barking behind her.  Without her there is chaos.  Poppy loves chasing tennis balls and running around on our 2 acre block at Kalaru.  She will fetch a tennis ball over and over again until she drops from exhaustion.  After being a dedicated mother (she was every puppy's dream mother), she is now enjoying the role of retired matron.  She is now 14 years old, still healthy and still the boss, although not the dictator she used to be.  and can still run and beat most of the other dogs at fetching a tennis ball.  However, she knows that she can't outrun young Lucy.  Lucy is so good at fetching a tennis ball that Poppy gives up if Lucy gets in front of her.  Thank you Poppy, we couldn't survive without you.

Poppy has now retired as the boss dog, and her daughter Ebony has taken her place as the boss.

Poppy had one litter of 4 puppies, and was then retired (desexed).  Ebony and Marley are her puppies.
